Description
These Chicken Alfredo Air Fryer Calzones are the ultimate comfort food—creamy, cheesy, and perfectly crispy! Made with shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, and a blend of mozzarella, ricotta, and Parmesan, they’re quick, easy, and perfect for busy weeknights or family dinners.
Ingredients
1 lb cooked chicken breast, shredded
1/2 cup Alfredo sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup ricotta cheese
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 store-bought pizza doughs
1 tablespoon olive oil (for brushing)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Prepare the Filling: In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, ricotta, Parmesan, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Roll Out the Dough: On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into two 8-inch circles.
Assemble the Calzones: Spoon the filling onto one half of each dough circle, leaving a 1-inch border. Fold the dough over and seal the edges by pressing or crimping with a fork.
Brush with Oil: Lightly brush the tops of the calzones with olive oil.
Air Fry: Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Cook the calzones for 10-12 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
Notes
For a crispier crust, brush with melted butter instead of olive oil.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
Reheat in the air fryer for 3-4 minutes to restore crispiness.
